FanCode to live stream all NZC domestic matches for 6 yrs

MUMBAI: FanCode, Dream11’s parent company Dream Sports-promoted digital sports destination, has partnered with New Zealand Cricket (NZC) to exclusively live stream all of their domestic matches for six years until 2026.

The agreement has commenced with the sixteenth season of Dream11 Super Smash matches which started on December 24, 2020.

It bears noting that FanCode already holds the streaming rights for all NZC’s international matches in India for the current season (November 2020 – March 2021) through a sub-licensing agreement with Amazon Prime Video, the OTT streaming service of Amazon Inc.

For the record, Amazon Prime Video holds the India territory rights for international cricket in New Zealand through to 2025/26.

FanCode has partnered with several domestic and international sports leagues and associations across multiple sports to provide unparalleled experience to Indian sports fans through a plethora of user-first features. Some of the features fans will experience during the live streaming of Dream11 Super Smash and other NZC domestic matches include interactive data overlays, where fans can customise the data they want to see while watching the live stream, interactive live scores, fantasy sports research, match highlights, sports news among others. Fans and viewers will also have the flexibility to either watch a single match or the entire tournament through a specially curated offering – ‘Match Pass’ for match-wise access to the tournament, or ‘Tour Pass’ to access the entire tournament.

The last season of Dream11 Super Smash led to a bonanza for Wellington fans with the Wellington Blaze picking up a hat-trick of titles and the Wellington Firebirds lifting the men’s trophy with an exciting win over the Aces. The ongoing season concludes on February 14, 2021 and FanCode ensures a comprehensive experience for each match spanning across three hours with a post-match analysis and highlights as well.
