PARIS: The French Football League (LFP) has renewed its contract with Italian automobile giant Fiat. As per the new agreement, Fiat will not only be sponsoring the Coupa de la Ligue like it has done in the form of being the official vehicle since the last two seasons, but it will also be associated with the Ligue 1 and Ligue 2 championships in France.
For this season, Fiat will also benefit from the visibility in the shirts of the players in the matches of the Coupe de la Ligue for the first time. The car manufacturer will also be present in digital banners across competitions.
Stéphane Labous, Fiat Chrysler Automobiles director of marketing, communication and trademark operations, said: “Becoming one of the main partners of the Coupe de la Ligue and official car of the Ligue 1 and Ligue 2, our company is increasingly increasing its presence in the most popular sport in France.”
