GAMES OF THE FUTURE (GOTF) 2025 prepares to deliver an electrifying showcase of competition, innovation, and entertainment, with less than three months remaining until kick-off in Abu Dhabi.
From 18–23 December, ADNEC will be transformed into a futuristic sporting hub, featuring esports arenas, robot combat zones, and drone racing tracks. Athletes and clubs from across the world will compete across 11 phygital disciplines that blend physical skill with digital strategy, vying for a prize pool worth $5 million.
The event is led by ASPIRE, the official delivery authority for GOTF 2025, with operational support from Ethara, the force behind many of the city’s biggest events.
Ahead of the tournament, residents and visitors can sample the excitement through an immersive roadshow running from October to December at key UAE locations. Showcasing live demos and interactive challenges, the tour aims to bring the thrill of phygital sport to life before the main event.
Phygital International CEO Nis Hatt said: “Phygital sports are rewriting the rulebooks of competition. With less than three months to go, transforming the iconic exhibition centre in the heart of Abu Dhabi into the world’s most advanced space for both digital and physical competition is no small feat. It requires the vision and dedication of hundreds of people to build bespoke digital arenas, pitches, and immersive experiences that will redefine how athletes compete and how fans engage.”
