Women’s World Cup: ICC releases ‘Will To Win’ campaign film

INTERNATIONAL CRICKET COUNCIL (ICC) has unveiled its flagship campaign film, ‘Will To Win’, capturing the essence of determination, perseverance, and the pursuit of glory. The launch coincides with the opening of the general ticket sales window at 8 PM IST on Tuesday, 8 September, via Tickets.cricketworldcup.com.

The campaign spotlights leading stars from every participating nation at the upcoming ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup, featuring India’s Smriti Mandhana and Harmanpreet Kaur, Sri Lanka’s Chamari Athapaththu, Australia’s Ellyse Perry, South Africa’s Marizanne Kapp, Pakistan’s Muneeba Ali, Bangladesh’s Nigar Sultana Joty, New Zealand’s Amelia Kerr, and England’s Nat Sciver-Brunt.

The film weaves a powerful emotional narrative, celebrating these athletes in their current glory while reflecting on their relentless journeys and the early dreams that fuelled their rise.

The tournament will be played across five venues in India and Sri Lanka, beginning on 30 September with the hosts facing each other in the opening clash.
