IIFL’s Deepali Naair named IBM India’s CMO  

MUMBAI: IBM, the global technology giant has named Deepali Naair as its new chief marketing officer (CMO) of its India and South Asia operations.

The development was confirmed by IBM India’s MD, Karan Bajwa on Twitter. She replaces Vasanth Kumar for the position.  

“Delighted to welcome @deepalinaair as the new CMO for IBM India/South Asia. Thanks for your contributions @voiceofvasanth. Looking forward to creating exciting new experiences for our clients together.” Bajwa tweeted.  

Naair responded on the social media platform: “I am very excited to be at IBM. I have been an admirer, for long, of all the cutting edge technology work done by IBM. The IBMers that I hv know (sic) have always sung praises too. Thank you @KaranBajwa_IN.”  

Her experience of more than two decades in areas of marketing, e-commerce, branding, as well as product and sales is set to benefit IBM to a huge extent.   Besides IIFL, she has also worked in top companies such as L&T Financial Services, HSBC, Tata Motors, Mahindra, BPL Mobile and Marico’s brands such as Mediker and Saffola.
