The appointments bolster IMG’s extensive Asia-Pacific team, which operates across 15 key markets. Nohra and Mooney will play a central role in accelerating business development and supporting IMG’s work with leagues and federations, delivering growth through integrated advisory, commercial, digital, production and event management services.
In his new role, Nohra will lead IMG’s football strategy and operations across the region. He will oversee major client relationships and work closely with leagues, clubs, federations and key stakeholders on governance, commercial expansion, media strategy and long-term development initiatives.
Nohra brings significant experience in football administration, commercialisation and organisational transformation across Asia and the Middle East. His previous senior roles include assistant general secretary of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) and vice president and general manager of WWE in the MENA and APAC regions.
Mooney becomes IMG’s first dedicated strategy appointment in the Asia-Pacific region. He will lead high-impact strategic advisory work for IMG’s partners, leveraging the agency’s global expertise and collaborating closely with regional leadership to deliver market insight, commercial discipline and actionable execution plans across rights, content and partnerships.
He joins IMG from Paramount / Network 10, where he led international strategy initiatives across APAC. Mooney brings more than 15 years of experience, having previously held roles at ColganBauer, PwC and EY, with expertise spanning strategy, commercial transactions, media rights, mergers and acquisitions, and business transformation.
