The brand value of the Indian Premier League (IPL) has surged by 13% to $12 billion in 2024, per the 17th Brand Finance IPL 2024 assessment report.
From a $2bn valuation in 2009, the IPL breached $10 billion for the first time in 2023, reaching $10.7bn.
Brand Finance further reported that four teams – Chennai Super Kings (CSK), Mumbai Indians (MI), Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) – have exceeded $100 million in brand value for the first time.
