INDIAN SUPER LEAGUE (ISL) clubs have constituted a five-member interim ISL club committee, according to a report by The Telegraph, and have forwarded the names of their representatives to the All India Football Federation (AIFF). The committee will work with the federation to ensure the smooth conduct and completion of the ISL 2025–26 season.
The committee comprises Ravi Puskur (FC Goa), Mandar Tamhane (NorthEast United FC), Mukul Choudhari (Jamshedpur FC), Dhruv Sood (Sporting Club Delhi) and Ekansh Gupta (Chennaiyin FC).
Notably, reigning ISL Shield and Cup holders Mohun Bagan Super Giant do not have representation on the panel, while East Bengal FC are also absent.
The interim committee will be dissolved once a formal governance structure for the league is finalised or upon completion of the 2025–26 season, whichever comes earlier.
The ISL governance charter, prepared by the league’s parent body and circulated to clubs on 13 January and again on 20 January following concerns raised over certain clauses, proposes a management committee comprising five club representatives. Under the charter, the previous season’s league winners are entitled to an automatic seat, making Mohun Bagan’s absence from the interim panel particularly striking.
