ISRL S2 finale attracts 30K+ fans; Bigrock Motorsports crowned

INDIAN SUPERCROSS RACING LEAGUE (ISRL) Season 2 concluded with a high-octane finale at EMS Corporation Stadium, Calicut, where Team Bigrock Motorsports were crowned Season 2 champions.

Bollywood star and ISRL Brand Ambassador Salman Khan was present at the venue as the finale drew a record-breaking crowd of more than 30,000 spectators, the highest attendance ever recorded for a motorsport event in India, according to the media release.

Beyond the racing action, the Reise Moto ISRL Fan Park turned the stadium into a full-fledged motorsport carnival. With live music, racing simulators, interactive brand zones, diverse food offerings, merchandise stalls and rider meet-and-greet sessions, the Fan Park delivered an immersive experience for families and motorsport enthusiasts alike.

On the track, Matt Moss of Team Bigrock Motorsports (Australia) claimed victory in the 450cc International class riding the Kawasaki KX 450. Calvin Fonvieille of Team Apollo Indewheelers (France) dominated the 250cc International category aboard the Yamaha YZ 250. In the 250cc India–Asia Mix class, Thailand’s Delvinator Alfarizi impressed the packed stadium with a commanding win on the KTM 250 SX-F.

ISRL Season 2 was backed by a strong roster of partners and sponsors, including Bisleri, Lilleria Group, Kawasaki India, Reise Moto, Eurosport India, TVS Apache, Ducati, KTM India, FundFloat, IIC Lakshya, Hero Vida, Ritz Lane and GUTS.

Khan said, “Watching the Grand Finale in Calicut was truly special. The passion of the fans and the intensity of competition show how far Indian motorsport has come. ISRL is creating a platform where Indian riders can compete confidently alongside the world’s best.”

ISRL managing director Veer Patel added, “Season 2 reflects the growing belief in Supercross across India. From Pune to Hyderabad and now Calicut, the record-breaking fan response shows the sport has truly found a home here, while we continue building strong pathways for Indian riders alongside world-class racing.”
