The International Cricket Council has issued an Invitation to Tender (ITT) to partner with “world-class and well-established agencies” interested in delivering fan parks for multiple ICC events in 2024 and 2025.
Fan parks provide a platform for fans to connect with each other and with cricket in a unique and immersive way. Delivering into multiple territories allows ICC to tap into diverse markets, tailoring events to local preferences and building stronger connections with a broader fan base.
For the first time the ICC is asking for proposals for events over a longer term. Applicants can submit tenders that can include fan parks in one or more countries, for the Women’s T20 World Cup 2024 (Bangladesh), the Men’s Champions Trophy 2025 (Pakistan), and the Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025 (India).
This ITT is intended to attract responses from companies with extensive experience in delivering fan parks for major international tournaments. It is expected that different agencies will be contracted in different territories. The ICC is also looking for innovative and different finance models for delivery.
