JioBLAST, the newly formed joint venture between BLAST and RISE Worldwide Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Reliance Industries Limited, has appointed Charlie Cowdrey been as the JV’s chief executive officer.
The appointment is seen as a pivotal step in BLAST’s strategic expansion into the Indian market.
As part of his new role, Cowdrey will relocate from London to Mumbai this September, where he will take charge of leading the JV’s operations in India. This relocation marks a major milestone in BLAST’s global journey, as the company prepares to deepen its footprint in one of the fastest-growing markets in the world.
BLAST CEO Robbie Douek expressed strong confidence in Cowdrey’s leadership, highlighting his instrumental role in the company’s growth over the past few years. “Charlie has been a key figure behind BLAST’s growth and publisher operations.
