LADAKH MARATHON, the world’s highest AIMS-certified marathon, has joined hands with seven brands ahead of its 12th edition this September, which is set to witness record participation.
Brand partnerships include:
Snickers – hunger partner
PUMA – apparel partner
Bisleri – hydration partner
Enerzal – energy partner
Hotel Grand Dragon, Leh – hospitality partner
Accord Hospital – health partner
Bajaj Allianz – insurance partner
To ensure smooth operations at this scale, extensive on-ground assistance will be provided by the Administration of the Union Territory of Ladakh—particularly Ladakh Police and the Health Department of Leh—alongside the Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council, the Indian Air Force, the Indian Army, the Army’s Fire & Fury Corps, the Border Roads Organisation, and 27 local communities. Their logistical support will be central to delivering a safe and seamless experience across Leh, Khardung La, and Nubra. Sustainability remains a core principle, with single-use plastics eliminated since 2019, in line with the guiding motto “Leave Only Footprints Behind.”
Taking place from 11 to 14 September, the marathon will bring together more than 6,600 runners from across India and over 30 other countries. The 2025 edition will host six races: the Silk Route Ultra (122 km, 11 September), the Khardung La Challenge (72 km, 12 September), the “Run Ladakh for Fun” 5 km (13 September), and on 14 September, the 11.2 km race, the Half Marathon (21 km), and the Full Marathon (42.195 km).
High Altitude Sports Foundation chairperson and Ladakh Marathon founder and organiser Chewang Motup Goba said, “What began in 2012 as Ladakh’s gift to the world has today become one of India’s premier races. The Ladakh Marathon has grown on the strength of its runners, its people, and the support of our partners, and it continues to showcase both endurance and resilience at the highest level. With each edition, we move closer to establishing it among the most distinctive marathons globally, while contributing to Ladakh’s identity on the international sporting stage.”
