MANCHESTER: Premier League heavyweights Manchester City have named tappit as its new official events cashless payment partner in the UK and Asia Pacific. Through its technology, tappit provides cashless experiences at sports, festivals and entertainment events around the world such as Birmingham City Football Club, Bestival, Emirates Airline Dubai Rugby 7s, Creamfields, the Formula 1 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix and the World Surf League.
The deal will explore the use of this technology at Manchester City events across the world, including global live screenings and mass participation events. Insights generated by the technology also provide City with the opportunity for continuous development based on fan usage. The club will work with tappit to offer a variety of added-value features for its global fanbase making the best use of the brand’s worldwide footprint.
