MANCHESTER: Manchester United have finally joined the bandwagon of Premier League clubs having their own official app, launching theirs on Thursday with an exclusive video on their official website.
There are several unique features that United will offer its fans such as personalizing their experiences in the ‘Collections’ tab which is similar to an Instagram or Snapchat story, but stuffed with articles, videos, quotes, polls and social media all bundled together.
‘United Now’ will ensure that fans receive a constant stream of news, images, video, behind-the-scenes access to the players, the manager and the Aon Training Complex.
Fans need to create a profile and a virtual jersey for themselves with their surname and favourite number on the back to register for the app. If any individual player is a favourite, they have the opportunity to look into their final details such as their latest match stats, interviews, videos and more. There’s also a section for the legends whose names are permanently etched into the history of the club.
They can now closely follow the league with the ‘Fixtures’ tab not only providing United’s results and upcoming matches, but also how each opposition stacks up with the Red Devils.
