MetLife Stadium announces upgrades to enhance fan experience

METLIFE STADIUM, home of the New York Jets and New York Giants, has announced a series of stadium improvements designed to elevate the fan experience ahead of the upcoming NFL season.

Key enhancements include the installation of four new cornerstone video boards, a brand-new audio system, an upgraded distributed antenna system (DAS) to expand 5G capacity and coverage, and the addition of two sensory pods.

The new video boards mark the first stage of a full replacement of LED video and digital displays across the stadium. Further upgrades—including tunnel entrance boards, sideline-facing game-in-progress screens, the 360° fascia ribbon board, and concourse, plaza and fan zone displays—will be carried out during the season and completed in early 2026.

The stadium’s new audio system features more than 1,000 loudspeakers throughout the main seating bowl, supported by advanced subwoofers and the latest amplification technology. Verizon has also boosted 5G cellular capacity and coverage in the seating bowl, in all the clubs.

MetLife Stadium is also preparing for an entertaining summer, set to host 40 events drawing over 1.9 million fans.

MetLife Stadium president and CEO Ron VanDeVeen said, “MetLife Stadium continually searches for new ways to improve our guest experience. We believe these enhancements will provide an engaging event-day atmosphere for our guests.”
