MLS extends association with Audi

NEW YORK: Major League Soccer (MLS) and global automobile maker, Audi’s American subsidiary have decided to extend a partnership that had kicked off in 2015 for another 4 years.

MLS has attracted the maximum number of millennial viewers in comparison to other sports in the USA. Being the league’s Official Automative Partner and the title sponsor of the MLS Cup Playoffs, Audi aims to reach out to the Gen-Next of young buyers through its fan engagement initiatives and ideas featuring innovation and technology. 

For example, through the Audi Player Index fans are provided with near real-time statistical analysis for all MLS matches on the league’s app.

With the historic opening of the state-of-the-art Audi Field, the home ground for DC United along with ten partnerships with MLS clubs, Audi’s commitment to growing the game has established the brand as one of the biggest names in soccer in North America. The partnership with MLS is part of Audi’s global soccer footprint, which includes some of the most legendary clubs in Europe.

Throughout the football season, Audi will also air MLS-themed commercials during nationally-televised games on ESPN, FOX and Univision, including the MLS All-Star Game, MLS Cup Playoffs and MLS Cup.
