PARIS: Moët & Chandon have come up with a special edition champagne named ‘Greatness since 1998’ in honour of Roger Federer’s 20th year of playing professional tennis.
According to tennisworldusa.org, Federer, the famed French champagne house’s brand ambassador since 2013, was in Paris on Thursday to promote the brand alongside his wife Mirka, former coach Stefan Edberg and Germany’s former world No. 2 player, Tommy Haas.
This is a limited edition champagne as there are only 20 bottles offered by the company priced at $20,000 each. Federer will be donating the proceeds amounting to $400,000 to his foundation – Roger Federer Foundation – that will reach as many as 1 million children through its programs later this year.
