NETFLIX has unveiled an all-new line-up of party games arriving this holiday season, offering subscribers a fun, interactive way to play, connect, and have fun; all within the Netflix app. With this launch, Netflix is transforming living rooms into vibrant gaming arenas.
The upcoming collection includes fan-favourite titles such as LEGO® Party!, Pictionary: Game Night, Boggle Party, Tetris Time Warp, and Party Crashers: Fool Your Friends. The experience is designed to be effortless — players simply select a title from the Games tab on their TV and use their smartphones as controllers by scanning a QR code. “We’re creating a completely new way to play games — one that’s as easy as streaming a show on a Friday night,” Netflix said in its announcement.
This next phase of Netflix’s gaming journey puts group play and social interaction at the centre. Players can now challenge friends and family directly from their smart TVs or streaming devices, signalling a shift from the company’s earlier mobile-only approach.
Having first entered the gaming space in 2021 through mobile titles, Netflix is now expanding its footprint to the TV screen to reach a wider, more social audience.
