Premier League appoints legal counsel in Saudi Arabia to fight beOutQ piracy

LONDON: The Premier League has stepped up the ante by zeroing down on their legal representation in Saudi Arabia to solve the piracy case involving beOutQ, the television channel owned by the country’s monarchy.

When it comes to the Premier League, it had awarded the exclusive broadcast rights for the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region once again to Qatar-based beIN Sports in August 2018 for the next four seasons. beIN Sports and the Premier League’s association began in June 2013.

As a result, the competition’s administration has also representations through the Sports Rights Owners Coalition to the European Commission and made the UK Government aware of the issue.
