PUBLICIS has unveiled a new influencer-led offering aimed at helping brands connect with sports fans at scale. Called Influential Sports, the initiative is a joint effort between Publicis Sports and Influential, the influencer marketing firm Publicis acquired in 2024 in a deal reportedly worth $500 million, MediaPost reported.
The new offering combines creators and influencers with fan intelligence, supported by Epsilon’s data capabilities, along with sponsorship and activation services and expertise in college sports NIL (name, image and likeness) deals. The move forms part of Publicis’ broader push to strengthen its position in sports marketing.
The announcement comes shortly after Publicis Connected Media revealed a partnership with Magic Johnson Enterprises, aimed at unlocking marketing opportunities across the company’s sports and entertainment portfolio.
