JAIPUR: Royals Sports Group-owned IPL franchise Rajasthan Royals introduced a matchday viewing experience for select spectators that features fans having the opportunity to watch the action from a hot air balloon stationed 45 feet above the ground.
The game against Gujarat Titans on 10th April (which the home team lost) at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium was the first instance of the “unique matchday experience” being made available to IPL fans. For this experience, two fans make the trip at a single time accompanied by the pilot to enjoy this special viewing. The ride commences next to Inner Gate No. 10 of the Sawai Mansingh Stadium, with the franchise taking all measures to ensure all safety protocols are in place for each of the rides, and making it a comfortable and memorable experience for the fans.
The experience will again be on offer for the upcoming home game against Mumbai Indians on 22nd April wherein fans fans present at the stadium will get another opportunity to watch their favourite players in action from an altitude of 45 feet that shows a holistic picture of the Sawai Mansingh Stadium.
