JIOSTAR HAS ROLLED OUT the first film from its high-voltage campaign for Season 12 of the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL), titled “Ghus Kar Maarenge”, featuring acclaimed actor Rana Daggubati. The film, released in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu, sets the tone for the league’s latest season, which kicks off on August 29, 2025, streaming live and exclusive on JioHotstar and broadcast on Star Sports Network.
The campaign film opens with a tense standoff at the gates of a large home, where Daggubati is confronted by a group of goons. With a snap of his finger, he orchestrates the introduction of traditional celebratory elements like red carpets and drums, disorienting the opponents. As he strides forward with composure and confidence, the hostile group retreats — a cinematic metaphor for the controlled aggression synonymous with kabaddi. The film concludes with Daggubati declaring, “Ghuss ke marne ki baatein toh sab karte hai, but hum Telugu Titans wale karke dikhaate hai” (Everyone talks about going on the offensive and striking, but us Telugu Titans do it and show it).
The “Ghus Kar Maarenge” campaign reflects the revamped format and rules of PKL Season 12, designed to ensure results in every match and heighten the league’s competitive edge.
