Sportswear company PUMA Wednesday announced a new collaboration with global music and fashion icon Rihanna.
“She’s back,” was the simple one line message confirming the return of Rihanna’s Fenty x Puma collaboration.
The Barbadian-born superstar is fresh in the public mind following her smash hit half-time performance at the Super Bowl, her first live show in over seven years.
Rihanna first teamed with PUMA in 2014 as creative director and global ambassador. The collaboration spawned ready-to-wear and footwear collections, including a creeper version of Puma’s best-selling suede sneakers.
Fenty x Puma’s last release was a motocross-inspired range for spring 2018, with the collaboration going on an unannounced hiatus while Rihanna pursued other projects.
