Rohit Sharma bats on with CEAT till 2021

MUMBAI: Indian tire manufacturer CEAT has opted to renew its bat sponsorship agreement that begun in 2015 with flamboyant batsman Rohit Sharma for the next three years.

“We are proud to extend our relationship with Rohit who has been a stand out performer across all formats of cricket. Our association with Rohit has been extremely fruitful for the brand CEAT and we are extremely happy with this long term association,” CEAT MD Anant Goenka said.

Sharma also commented on the news: “I am really happy to be continuing this association with CEAT. I am extremely grateful for their backing and they have been a great support to me. These last three years have been very memorable and productive for me personally. I am looking forward to continuing this association with this prestigious company for many more years to come.”

Besides Sharma, CEAT’s logo can also be seen on the bats of Ajinkya Rahane, Shubman Gill and Harmanpreet Kaur. Its other involvements in cricket include being the sponsor of the Strategic TimeOut in the IPL and the annual CEAT Cricket Awards based on its unique cricket ratings system.
