MUMBAI: Sania Mirza will be in Bengaluru Spartans’ corner as their supporter and brand ambassador in the Tennis Premier League, which will be played here from December 13.
The Bengaluru Spartans is owned by actor, entrepreneur and social activist Kapil Jhaveri.
Season 3 of TPL, which is promoted by Skygoal Sports Pvt ltd under the auspices of AITA and MSLTA, is scheduled to start from 13th December at the the Celebration Sports Club.
Sania joins tennis legends Goran Ivanisevic and Leander Paes on the ambassador roster of the league, which has eight teams competing.
Each of the eight teams will have a top 10 ranked player of India in every category. The added attraction will be the participation of the wheelchair players and the support of a well known celebrity.
Each team will be assigned a mentor, a coach and a nutritionist.
