SMK HELMETS has partnered the Moto4 Latin Cup as its official technical helmet sponsor. The championship is part of the Road to MotoGP development ecosystem, a structured international pathway designed to support emerging riders as they progress towards professional circuit racing.
With this collaboration, SMK becomes the first global Indian helmet brand to enter international motorsport through a Road to MotoGP championship, marking a significant milestone in the company’s international expansion. Riders in the series will compete wearing the race-spec SMK Titan Carbon Racing helmet, developed specifically for the demands of circuit competition.
As part of the agreement, SMK will equip all competing riders with the Titan Carbon Racing helmet, a competition-focused version of its Titan Carbon platform engineered for high-performance racing. Built around a lightweight carbon-fibre shell and a race-oriented interior configuration, the helmet is certified under the ECE 22.06 standard and designed to deliver enhanced protection, stability and comfort at high speeds.
The Moto4 Latin Cup forms part of the Road to MotoGP initiative and serves as one of the regional championships within the global development structure. The 2026 season will feature 12 rounds across major circuits in Brazil and Argentina, bringing together young riders from across the Americas to compete on identical Honda NSF250R race machines. The championship is scheduled to begin from 20-22 March in Goiânia, Brazil.
SMK Helmets managing director and CEO Sidhartha Khurana added, “For SMK, supporting the Moto4 Latin Cup is more than a sponsorship. It reflects our long-term commitment to rider safety and innovation. As one of the world’s largest helmet manufacturers by volume, with over five decades of expertise, we believe racing plays an important role in advancing helmet technology. These young athletes represent the future of our sport, and we are proud to stand beside them as they pursue their dreams. The insights gained through racing environments will continue to strengthen the technology that ultimately protects riders on roads across the world.”
