MUMBAI: Culver Max Entertainment (aka Sony Pictures Networks India), Wednesday confirmed the acquisition of exclusive television rights to broadcast the upcoming India tour of Bangladesh, which will include three one-day internationals and two Tests.
The matches will air LIVE on Sony Sports Ten 5, Sony Sports Ten 3 and Sony Sports Ten 4 channels exclusively for the territory of India.
India and Bangladesh will clash in the first ODI on December 4, and it is the first time since 2015 when the Men in Blue will be touring Bangladesh.
This will also be India’s last series of the year, before they prepare to take on Sri Lanka in January.
Starting 4th December, the Indian cricket team will visit Bangladesh led by Rohit Sharma and vice-captain KL Rahul. Team India’s line-up will include star players like Virat Kohli, Shikhar Dhawan, Rishabh Pant and Mohammed Shami among others.

Nizam Uddin Chowdhury, chief executive officer, Bangladesh Cricket Board, added: “We are happy to note that Sony Sports Network has acquired the broadcast rights for India’s tour of Bangladesh 2022. Sony Sports Network is among the industry leaders, and I am sure the broadcast quality and standards will be befitting of a much-anticipated series like this one.”

India is now ranked fourth with 52.08 percentage points in the ICC World Test Championship cycle, which includes the two Test matches between India and Bangladesh. Bangladesh, on the other side, is in last place with 13.33 percentage points in the championship table.
India will fly for Bangladesh on December 1 and return on December 27 after the tour is finished.
