MUMBAI: There’s no official word on it yet but Sony Pictures Networks India has reportedly appointed Neville Bastawalla, currently SPN’s senior vice-president and head Marketing – English Channels, to lead the marketing function of the network’s sports cluster.
Bastawalla’s appointment fills a vacancy left open since September after Kedar Teny, then head of marketing and OAP – sports cluster, resigned back in September.
Bastawalla has been with SPN since 2013, having joined the network from rival Star India where was the AVP and head of marketing – Hindi movies and English channels, from 2011-2013.
Bastawalla’s earlier stints include working for Mid Day Infomedia, Nickelodeon, HSBC, Walt Disney Company, Contract Advertising, Mudra Communications and DDB India.
