SPN scores S Asia b’cast rights for SA’s MSL T20

MUMBAI: Global Sports Commerce (GSC), commercial rights holder of the Mzansi Super League T20, has awarded the broadcast rights for the league to Sony Pictures Networks India (SPN) for MSL T20 in India, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, the Maldives, Nepal and Sri Lanka.

SPN’s sports channels SONY SIX & SONY ESPN kicked off telecast of MSL T20 matches, with the play-off on Friday. Season 2 of the MSL T20 will also be available on SPN’s Sony Liv app, as too GSC’s partner OTT platform Cricket Gateway on app and website www.cricketgateway.com.

SPN already holds the broadcast rights of international cricket in South Africa.
