Spurs, New Era enter into headwear alliance

LONDON: Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur continue to attract a wide range of sponsors and partners around the world with American headwear brand, New Era coming on board recently as per a multi-year agreement.

Being the club’s official headwear licensee, New Era will provide dual-branded headwear for the Spurs’ global fanbase, across online and in-store retail channels as well as Spurs retail outlets including retail store within the Tottenham Experience at the new stadium.

The collection will also be available through New Era online and in-store retail channels. The collection will feature a number of headwear silhouettes including the 9FIFTY snapback, 9FORTY adjustable and knits.

Established in the USA in 1920, New Era is best known for the iconic 59FIFTY cap and hold relationships with a host of major sports teams and leagues such as the NFL, MLB and NBA.

Victoria Hawksley, Tottenham Hotspur’s head of retail merchandising, said: “We are delighted to begin this exciting relationship with New Era, recognised as the leading brand in the headwear category.

“We look forward to introducing the new collection to our fans both here in the UK and in key overseas markets.”
