Stupa Sports expands global footprint with padel, p’ball deals

STUPA SPORTS, a sports technology and analytics company, has announced two international partnerships, marking a major leap in its global expansion strategy. The company has joined forces with Swiss Tennis to serve as the Official Competition Management Partner for padel events across Switzerland, and has simultaneously entered the world of professional pickleball as the exclusive Data & Technology Partner for the Pickleball Champions League (PCL) Asia Finals 2025 in Shenzhen, China.

With Swiss Tennis, Stupa will deploy a fully customized, white-labelled competition management ecosystem delivering tournament operations, rankings, licensing, league administration, and player services for padel nationwide. The multi-year engagement will streamline the federation’s digital infrastructure through modules such as tournament management, player dashboards, payment systems, and notification management, ensuring efficient, transparent, and scalable operations for players, clubs, and officials.

Matthieu Amgwerd, Head of Padel at Swiss Tennis, added: “Partnering with Stupa Sports initiates a new chapter for the management of our padel events. Their expertise in competition management technology will enhance the overall quality and professionalism of tournaments, helping us provide better services to players, clubs, and officials. This cooperation aligns perfectly with our commitment to grow and develop padel sustainably in Switzerland.”

Megha Gambhir, Founder & CEO of Stupa Sports, commented: “We are excited to collaborate with Swiss Tennis and support their ambitious vision for growing padel across Switzerland. Our platform’s flexibility and proven track record in sports digitization will empower the federation to deliver efficient, transparent, and engaging tournament experiences. We look forward to bringing the benefits of digital transformation to Swiss padel.”

Steve Kuhn, Co-Founder of PCL Asia, said: “Partnering with Stupa Sports marks a significant milestone for PCL Asia and the broader pickleball community. Their advanced technology solutions, including AI-driven analytics and precision officiating tools, will enhance the competitive integrity and viewing experience of our events. We are excited to collaborate with a company that shares our vision for growing pickleball across Asia through innovation and excellence.”

Deepak Malik, Founder & COO of Stupa Sports, stated: “Entering the world of pickleball is a milestone moment for us, and we are thrilled to do so with an innovative partner like PCL Asia and Ramsports. Alongside providing technology, we aim to shape the future of this rapidly growing sport. Our AI-driven analytics and officiating tools will bring a new dimension of professionalism and engagement to pickleball, and we are confident that the PCL Asia Finals will serve as the definitive showcase for the sport’s digitally-enhanced future.”

Stupa’s global expansion continues through its exclusive partnership with PCL Asia, where the company will deliver advanced officiating, video-production, and broadcast technology for the PCL Asia Championship Finals at the Ramsports Stadium in Shenzhen, China, from December 3-7, 2025.

At the core of Stupa’s deployment for the PCL Asia Finals is Stupa Cast, the company’s flagship AI-powered analytics engine. The system will drive real-time statistics, advanced visual overlays, and data-led storytelling for every match on the main court, introducing broadcast and performance standards that mirror elite global competitions. This is strengthened by Stupa’s multi-angle Decision Review System, designed to deliver precision, transparency, and fairness in officiating – an innovation increasingly sought after by federations worldwide, the release said.
