GR8 SPORTS INDIA, a Jammu & Kashmir-based company, has signed an MoU with New Delhi–based Talentpost to accelerate sports innovation, athlete development, and industry growth.
According to a statement, the MoU aims to unlock India’s untapped sporting potential through a combination of advanced technology, structured training, and talent identification. The partnership will focus on scaling high-performance, AI-driven sporting equipment manufacturing while nurturing emerging athletes, particularly from Jammu and Kashmir. The initiative also seeks to create employment opportunities, strengthen sports-led manufacturing, and boost the regional economy.
“In tandem with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s dream our aim is to build champions, empower dreamers, and ensure India emerges among the world’s top five medal-winning nations at the 2036 Olympics. We want to tap the potential in J&K and give it a platform at national and international stage through our partnership with GR8 Sports. We will be opening training centers in educational institutes, universities and other areas to tap the potential of thousands of young athletes whose talent often goes unnoticed. We are looking at the initial investment of Rs 45 crore in GR8,” Talentpost MD Rajveer Rohit Kaushik told The Economic Times.
With global demand for Kashmir willow on the rise, Talentpost plans to position this indigenous product line at the forefront of India’s sports manufacturing industry and promote it on international platforms. The collaboration brings together GR8’s expertise in technological innovation and global reach with Talentpost’s experience in athlete development and performance enhancement.
