TGL PRESENTED BY SOFI, the team-based golf league featuring six squads of PGA TOUR stars, returns on Sunday for its second season. Following a detailed review of its inaugural campaign, the league will introduce enhancements across all aspects of the competition from storytelling and new competitive elements to an improved fan experience as it continues to build its platform for team golf.
Season Two will open with a finals rematch, as New York Golf Club take on defending champions Atlanta Drive GC on 28 December. The fixture will also mark TGL’s broadcast network debut on ABC.
On the competition and broadcast front, Season Two will feature a renovated and larger green complex, along with an expanded catalogue of virtual holes. These changes are designed to intensify risk-reward decisions and place greater emphasis on shot-making under pressure. Broadcast enhancements will further elevate contextual storytelling, helping audiences better understand the strategic and competitive nuances of TGL’s match-play format.
TGL has also expanded its global footprint, with the league now available across 152 countries and territories, up from 130 in its inaugural season. New broadcast partnerships have been secured in key markets including India through FanCode, Thailand via Golf Channel Thailand, and the Pacific Islands region through Digicel. The league’s international media roster includes major sports platforms such as beIN in South-East Asia, Canal+ in France, Claro in South America, Disney+ in the Nordic region, ESPN in the United States, Fox Sports Australia, JTBC in South Korea, Sky Sports across the United Kingdom and select European markets, SportsNet in Canada, STARZPLAY in the MENA region, SuperSport in Africa and U-NEXT in Japan.
Fans attending matches at SoFi Center can expect a more immersive in-venue experience, with several new enhancements designed to bring spectators closer to the action while also expanding hospitality offerings within the venue.
A limited number of greenside match tickets are available via TGLGolf.com, while premium hospitality options are on offer for every match at SoFi Center, including private suites, the CÃŽROC Athletic Club and the Clubhouse. Supporters can also choose from more than 600 licensed products, with official team merchandise available at TGLShop.com, allowing fans to represent their teams both at the venue and from home.
