UTTARAKHAND PREMIER LEAGUE (UPL) season 2, currently being played in Dehradun, has concluded its much-anticipated sports presenter contest, “UPL Ki Aawaz,” with 25-year-old Dehradun native Deeksha Chauhan emerging as the winner.

Chauhan impressed the jury with her confident delivery, engaging style, and in-depth understanding of the game, ultimately earning the opportunity to train and work alongside some of the finest presenters and broadcasters in Indian sport, per an official release.

Launched as a breakthrough initiative by event organisers Sspark Sports and Entertainment, the contest was created to provide a platform for talented sports enthusiasts across Uttarakhand aged between 18 and 45. Participants submitted 30–60 second videos showcasing their presenting skills, with shortlisted candidates moving on to live auditions for the opportunity to join the official UPL broadcast and social media team across TV and OTT platforms.

Sspark Sports and Entertainment founder Rajeev Khanna, “On behalf of the entire UPL family, we extend our heartfelt congratulations to Deeksha and warmly welcome her onboard. This initiative was about discovering fresh voices that can bring the spirit of Uttarakhand to sports broadcasting, and we are thrilled with the enthusiasm and talent we’ve seen.”
