INTERNATIONAL BOXING FEDERATION (IBF) has confirmed Vietnam as the host nation for its 41st Annual Convention, scheduled to take place in May.
The event will be held at The Grand Ho Tram from 24 to 28 May, marking the first time the IBF has awarded its annual convention to a Southeast Asian country.
The IBF Annual Convention brings together reigning world champions, federation officials, leading promoters and boxing managers from across the globe. Discussions typically focus on key areas including regulatory updates, rankings, bout governance and the sport’s long-term development strategy.
The 41st edition of the convention is expected to attract hundreds of international delegates. Beyond its landmark status, the event is set to raise Vietnam’s profile within the global boxing community and support the country’s broader push towards a more professional and sustainable boxing structure.
