MUMBAI: In another high-profile promotional effort for the upcoming Odisha Men’s Hockey World Cup Bhubaneswar 2018, Indian Hockey team captain PR Sreejesh, Arjuna Awardee Manpreet Singh, along with other players, will participate in popular reality show Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC) hosted by mega star Amitabh Bachchan in a special Friday episode.
KBC airs on Sony Pictures Networks India’s (SPN) flagship Hindi general entertainment channel Sony Entertainment Television (SET).
The special segment of “KBC Karamveers” felicitates individuals whose heroic actions and good deeds have brought positive change in society. Some “Karamveers” will be accompanied by celebrities championing their cause.
In the Friday episode, the national hockey players will face living legend Bachchan in the hot seat.
KBC will spread the message of the Hockey World Cup scheduled to be held at Kalinga Stadium in Odisha state capital Bhubaneswar from November 28 to December 16.
