YOUNG BASKETBALL Aces will host their inaugural Slam Mumbai, an exclusive 5×5 indoor tournament for Under-17 boys, at Mount Litera International School on 16 August, starting at 9 AM.
The tournament is curated by the young basketball trio of Hridhaan Muni, Dhiaan Sheth and Ridaan Shah, who aim to establish it as a launchpad for emerging talent in the city. Ten private teams have already registered for the competition, which is designed to support players who may lack access to regular tournaments. The event offers prize money of Rs.10,000.
Asia Pacific Cup club tournament participant Muni said, “We want to spot deserving talent, support them, and offer a pathway to grow within the sport.”
Sheth and Shah added, “The idea is to create an opportunity for all and allow them to play freely and express their talents, aiming for inclusivity in sports.”
