SHRACHI SPORTS has partnered with Zee Bangla Sonar and ZEE5 as the official broadcast and streaming partners for the upcoming Bengal Super League (BSL), which kicks off on 7 December. The competition will feature eight teams, each representing a different region of the state.
Under the agreement, all BSL matches will be aired live exclusively on Zee Bangla Sonar and streamed simultaneously on ZEE5. Fixtures are scheduled to be telecast at 1 pm and 4 pm.
Launched in July and licensed by the Indian Football Association (IFA), the BSL will host matches across four district venues, taking professional football beyond Kolkata and offering local players a platform for exposure and development. The league aims to energise district-level football, inspire regional communities and uncover Bengal’s emerging talent, while strengthening the broader football ecosystem in the state.
Shrachi Sports has also appointed FIFA World Cup-winning captain and global football legend Lothar Matthäus as the official ambassador of the league.

It is a first-of-its-kind hybrid channel for Bengali-speaking audiences across India which blends fiction, non-fiction, films and new formats like telecasting LIVE sporting events. The Bengal Super League is new with vast potential and matches the very ethos of Zee BanglaSonar with its vibe, vigour and vibrancy.
