LEADING GOLFERS from across the country will be in action at the 14th BPGC Ladies Open Amateur Golf Championship, scheduled to be held at the Bombay Presidency Golf Club from 10 to 12 February.
The event, sponsored by WIGA and co-sponsored by CPP, has attracted 96 entries across the Gold, Silver and Bronze divisions from around India.
The Gold Division features Paromita Mukherjee, the top-ranked player on the AVT Tour. The host city’s challenge will be led by Uma Menon, Sonia Malhotra, Mugdha Datar, Bharati Purker and Tasneem Ali, according to information shared by BPGC Lady Captain Vijaya Sahajwala. Delhi-based players Sonal Chaudhri and Dimple Singh are also expected to contend strongly.
The overall winner will be awarded the Mahindra Trophy, while silver prizes will be presented across all divisions.
