MADRID: Italian wine consortium Consorzio Prosecco DOC, which became an official supplier to MotoGP in 2019, has extended that partnership for another three years, until 2024 inclusive.
Prosecco DOC hails from north-eastern Italy, with the area of production split across four provinces of Friuli Venezia Giulia and five of Veneto. The Consorzio di Tutela, which manages the Denomination of Controlled Origin (DOC), guarantees the history, legacy and quality of their products, which are now confirmed to continue in their starring role in every MotoGPâ„¢ post-race celebration.
As well as their presence on the podium, this new agreement also ensures that Consorzio Prosecco DOC will remain a jewel in the crown of the MotoGP VIP Village, providing guests with an extra sparkle as they enjoy the best of the world’s fastest motorcycle racing Championship. The marque will also continue to count on trackside advertising at a number of Grands Prix throughout each season, ensuring Prosecco DOC remains an emblematic brand in the paddock and is showcased across pivotal global markets thanks to the worldwide reach of MotoGP.
