MELBOURNE: Responding to the destruction caused to communities, families and wildlife by the devastating bushfires raging across Australia, the ICC has sought help from the global cricket family to support relief efforts through its charity partner UNICEF Australia.
UNICEF Australia is prioritising bushfire emergency relief and has established a fund and action plan to assist children in bushfire affected areas. People can support by donating here: unicef.org.au/bushfire-response.
In addition, tournament hosts Cricket Australia are supporting a range of initiatives, including encouraging people to donate to the Australian Red Cross Disaster Relief and Recovery Fund here: https://www.redcross.org.au/cricket.
The ICC T20 World Cup 2020 is working with the International Cricket Council, Cricket Australia, partners and stakeholders to give support to fundraising and relief efforts wherever it can.
