BENGALURU: After having hosted the first-ever FIBA Women’s Asia Cup in July 2017, Basketball Federation of India (BFI) may get to host the men’s competition in future, FIBA secretary general Andreas Zagklis says.
“I do believe that the BFI in the near future could be a real candidate for both men’s and women’s events at the Asian and also the world level,” Zagklis told Deccan Herald here.
For the record, India also hosted the U16 Women’s Asian Championship 2017.
