Amul expands intl football portfolio with Spain deal, extends Argentina assn

AMUL HAS ANNOUNCED A partnership with the Spanish national football team as Official Regional Sponsor for India, while also extending its existing association with Argentina ahead of the FIFA World Cup 2026.

Amul posted on its Instagram handle: “We are thrilled to announce that Amul, the world’s No. 1 dairy cooperative and strongest food and dairy brand, has partnered with the Spanish National Football Team for the first time.”

Amul has also confirmed its partnership with the Argentina Football Association for a fourth consecutive year, extending a relationship that began in 2022 through the current World Cup cycle.

Amul added, “We are delighted to continue our successful partnership with afaseleccion, one of the world’s most iconic football associations, for the fourth consecutive year.”

As part of the Argentina extension, Amul plans to launch player-led product ranges and fan merchandise tied to the team during the World Cup cycle. The brand has also released a print advertisement marking both partnerships. With deals spanning Spain and Argentina, Amul is now associated with two of global football’s most followed teams ahead of the tournament.
