HYDERABAD: Indian Premier League (IPL) 2016 champions Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) took to its official Twitter handle on Monday to launch a unique offer, rewarding its loyal fan base for its first home game ahead of the 2019 season against Rajasthan Royals on 29 March.
SRH has made 25,000 seats at the 55,000-strong Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in the city available for its fans to purchase at a nominal price of Rs 500 on a first-come-first-serve basis. They can avail the offer on the franchise’s official website, sunrisershyderabad.in as the deal began on Wednesday morning at 11 AM IST.
Under the hashtag #500ForYou, the franchise introduced to its fans the offer with a special message from their former captain and Australia’s returning batsman David Warner. This was followed by several other SRH cricketers calling out and urging the legion of ‘Orange Army’ fans to buy the tickets, as the offer is only valid for the Royals game.
