NEW DELHI: Undeterred by the ICC’s snub over his proposal to isolate Pakistan from the international cricket community, and clearly “playing to the ruling political dispensation galleries”, Committee of Administrators (CoA) chairman Vinod Rai on Thursday asserted the BCCI would persist with the issue.
The International Cricket Committee (ICC) had shot down the BCCI’s proposal tabled by Rahul Johri on Rai’s direction during its meeting in Dubai last week.
The CoA will take up the matter before world cricket’s governing body once again when they meet ICC chairman Shashank Manohar in Mumbai on March 12.
