MUMBAI: Discovery Communications’ branded sports channel DSport has been confirmed as the official Indian broadcaster of the World of Sport (WOS) Wrestling League, the United Kingdom’s WWE-style competition.
DSport will add to its growing list of contact sports competitions such as Bellator MMA in the USA and the Japanese Pro Wrestling League.
WOS was launched in December 2016 with its first season comprising of 10 episodes. In India, it will be televised in the form of a weekly show every Tuesday at 9 pm starting 26 February, Television Post reports.
