NEW DELHI: PokerBaazi, one of India’s top digital poker platforms, announced Friday that it will be launching ‘Game Changer’ on 20 February, which will be the biggest international level competition held in India online offering prize money of Rs 20 million.
The organisers have set an entry fee of Rs 11,000 for each participant, who will have the chance to compete five times on the first three days of the competition. The winners of these three rounds will battle it out in the finals on 24 February. The competition winner will receive Rs 5 million.
PokerBaazi founder and CEO Navkiran Singh commented: “PokerBaazi has brought about a revolutionary tsunami which is synonymous to their brand image. “This time, not only the prize pool of INR 20 million GTD, Game Changer’s winner will be receiving a paycheck of INR 5 million! The Indian poker circuit just got jolted to the echelons of international standards.”
PokerBaazi is also renowned for hosting ‘MoneyMaker’, the poker competition offering Rs 10 million in prize money and which is held thrice a year.
