MUMBAI: The fifth season of the Hero Indian Super League (ISL) is set to resume today when Kerala Blasters take on arch-rivals and two-time champions ATK in a home game in Kochi.
To mark the tournament’s return after a historic AFC Asian Cup performance by the national team, official broadcasters Star Sports have come out with a promotional campaign #BreakKeBaad on its television and digital platforms.
Most of India’s squad members are available and fit to play for their respective franchises.
The ten teams are set to battle it out for the playoffs, with six of them being in contention. Barring table toppers Bengaluru FC and third-placed FC Goa that have played 11 matches each, all the others have played 12 with six more to go. It is after 18 games that the top 4 will be decided.
