MUMBAI: Sports Flashes, the online radio channel and a multi-sports app has secured the audio rights for India’s tour of Australia from Sony Pictures Networks India (SPN), the official broadcaster of the series in the Indian subcontinent.
The Times Group controlled Sports Flashes will rope in commentators like Akash Chopra, Simon Katich, Damien Fleming, Reetinder Sodhi to reach out to Indian audiences throughout the tour which comprises of three T20Is, four Test matches and three ODIs.
“After the phenomenal success of the India-West Indies series, we are happy to expand our footprint in India through the forthcoming India-Australia cricket series. We intend to reach to an audience of 200 million Indian cricket fans with live feed of three T20s, four tests and three ODIs from Australia,” Sports Flashes founder and CEO Raman Raheja said.
Raheja added that the company would also be tying up with various radio and digital platforms for providing the live feed of the audio content.
