MUMBAI: Indian women’s football star Aditi Chauhan launched top furniture brand, Godrej Interio’s ‘Posture Support Mattress’ on Wednesday at an event in the city on Wednesday, IANS reports.
On the occasion, Aditi said a quality sleep not only helped her but is also necessary for every athlete to grow in their career, besides food supplements and proper training. It re-energises the body and rejuvenates the mind, thereby refreshing one to perform to his or her optimum level.
“Football is an extremely agile sport wherein alertness and fitness remain integral to success. A tired or unfit body will not be able to perform well in such demanding sports,” the 25-year-old footballer was quoted as saying to IANS.
Meanwhile, Godrej took the occasion to launch its #SleepAt10 initiative to create awareness amongst people about how important sleep is to a person’s physical as well as mental wellbeing.
